Broken? Let’s see…..

Going through the young years with a house full of
kids is an effective teaching method. Lots of things
dawned on me one at a time. I didn’t plan that
education but it sure helped.

I learned to be practical and not worry about our
“image”. Used items can be fixed and last for years.
Everything doesn’t need an expensive professional
handling it. I can do more than I thought.

Discovering I can learn what is needed, make simple
fixes, fill out a tax form or replace a sump pump is a
pleasant surprise. Each thing adds a little self
confidence. When some trouble appears anger and
irritation are replaced by deciding on the best solution.

Life’s challenges can not all be overcome without
expert help but some of them can. I have a few grey
cells too, and so do you. What are we saving them for?
